Gmail's SMTP services stopped working at the beginning of May as they no longer allow SMTP authentication with a username/password. We have now added support for an alternative authentication method so Gmail's SMTP services can be used again
The 'quick add to cart' shopping cart mode will now also show additional products during the reservation process, as is the case with all other reservation methods
New option if reservations must come from trusted customers: "Only customers added by moderators can make reservations". If selected, a moderator first needs to add a customer or create a reservation in their name. Only then can the customer create new reservations themselves.
In most templates you'll now find a button "Modify with AI prompt" which allows you to interact with an AI to update your template. The AI is aware of the Planyo tags which can be used in the context of given template and it also understands how to work with HTML code.
It's now possible to configure reservation form items which are not filled out at reservation time but later on, once the customer receives a special link (e.g. X days before arrival, or after check-out etc.), see Q380 for more about this.
You can add a new reservation form item of type 'signature' where the customer leaves their signature under your terms&conditions using mouse or touching the screen. Similar to the existing 'agreement' form item. See more in Q147.
The pricing manager rule "User role and event" lets you determine either the user role (admin / customer) or the current event (new reservation / modification) or a combination of the two. Useful to display different info or error messages based on the current context
Resource listing and search results can now be sorted according to resource popularity which corresponds to the number of reservations for given resource in the previous month.
There's a new way to implement the waiting list lottery: you can now prioritize reservations of customers who have never booked the resource or have booked it further in the past than more recent customers
A new step-by-step tutorial shows how to set up daily lottery in Zapier deciding which customers get access to next day's daily recurring event using waiting lists.

Using the 'reservation form item' rule of Pricing Manager, you can now verify validity of any form item field using a regular expressions (regex) pattern. This allows for precise validation of fields such as license plate number or member number etc, see more about this in Q371
Each pricing manager rule can have an optional comment explaining the purpose of the rule; by default it's not visible to the customers although this can be configured on the 'Reservation form info box' page
