In a fireside with @JuliusKrein, @eisenberg_ross of @plasticmakers says that recycling 50% of plastics headed to landfills could support 173,000 jobs and nearly $49 billion in economic activity.
That's roughly the size of the entire U.S. milk industry, created from materials we're currently throwing away.
