Niche milling: One of Peru's dirty little secrets (and yes, there are others) I guess the 1000s of professional archaeologists just... you know.. like... didn't notice it... or something 🧐 x.com/plastolithic/status/16…

One artifact in the "Sacristy" room is extremely important and relevant to the puzzle of the leftside niche in the "temple of the 3 windows". It is a niche that was being milled out but that was halted partway though leaving obvious evidence of how it was being made.

yeah, well-spotted! I had not even seen that one yet! That's the inside of the Torreon doorway. So many photos to work through and most of them are mislabeled.πŸ˜…

One day some people in positions of authority will have to explain this. That will be a fun day for humanity πŸ™ƒ

These 2 niches at Ollantaytambo are "milled" out of the Andesite bedrock. Even to the untrained eye it's obvious that these were created by non-mechnical means. As with many other niche-style bedrock cutouts we can see potential entry/exit cuts at or near the corners. 2 / 7πŸ”©

It's also got an unevenly milled niche. This is the 4th one that I've observed. Same pattern: always the left side.

The Greeks knew there was a more advanced civilization beyond the known world, across the river Oceanos. Now the world is explored and we've found the ruins of this civilization.

So what known tools make cuts like that? Easy answer: NONE. Do you really need a microscopic analysis to tell you that these are not created by any tool in our toolbox?

Ignoring those suspicious cuts is exactly why archaeologists lack credibility in the eyes of the general public. In the 21st century and we can see the evidence for ourselves, and it's obvious that there are serious issues with the narrative constructed by mainstream archaeology.
