ALERT: US Coast Guard jumps onto a runaway boat and safely stops it in Maryland.
Authorities say the man operating the vessel suddenly fell overboard, and the Coast Guard had to intercept and stop the boat.
The incident has raised awareness among boat operators to wear their engine shut-off clip lanyards, which are required by federal law on most boats under 26 feet.

I think weโre missing the most glaringly obvious part of how wildly hypocritical this entire IP28 issue is. These morons can fight to ban hunting, raising livestock for food, collecting eggs, and fishing because โitโs cruelโ while they simultaneously DEMAND that the MURDER of unborn human babies be not only allowed, but encouraged and supported. Supporting this madness is nothing less than evil and should be met with unyielding opposition!

Oregonโs IP28 is going to go down as one of the most controversial signature drives in state history.
They say itโs about stopping animal cruelty, but hereโs what it actually does:
โข Bans all hunting and fishing โ licensed or not. Turns them into animal ab*se under the law (strips every legal protection)
โข Makes trapping illegal
โข Shuts down commercial dairy and meat production
โข Reclassifies normal breeding practices for food animals as se*ual ass*ult crimes
โข No exemptions for Oregon Tribes
Weโre talking 330,000 licensed hunters and their families, another 500,000 anglers, and 37,000 farms & ranches that would get wiped out โ along with all those jobs.
This isnโt just about sportsmen.
Itโs a massive overreach that hits rural Oregon hard, discriminates against Tribes, and will drive up food costs for every Oregonian.
Bottom line: Vote NO on IP28.

Incredible local history lies hidden in old books and will be forgotten if we donโt keep it alive! @foundring1 does this in keeping historical music alive. I hope to achieve something similar; but with passages from historical books I come across.
This connects to Oregon History and local places like Sauvie Island [Wapato Island], it tells of the lengths Americans were willing to go to for Oregon to exist.
