Yesterday I attended my final meeting as a Board Member with Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln. It has been a privilege over the last 6.5 years to serve alongside some amazing staff, board members and families. I’m excited for what this next season holds for them! #Habitat

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re reminded open talk& genuine connection can empower. Young males 16-25 often face unique MH challenges that go unspoken. Today, I encouraged the LSW boys to recognize their worth extends far beyond soccer & to seek support when needed.

A fun Thursday evening as the Lincoln Southwest Boys won their district final and booked a trip to the Class A Soccer State Tournament next week. Could not be prouder of their effort, adaptability and execution last night!

Incredibly proud of Phoebe who was honored at the Mayors Interfaith Prayer Breakfast this morning. Phoebe wrote an essay on the theme Who is My Neighbor and based her essay around Matthew 22:39. She had the opportunity to read her essay,meet the Mayor & Nebraska State Poet!
