This morning, our Chair @stephen_dorrell, was live on air speaking to both Good Morning Britain and Sky News about the 10-Year Health Plan announcement. See what Stephen has to say below👇
'Is the money there, doctor?' @edballs and @kategarraway discuss the government's 10 year plan for the NHS which Labour created back in 1948 with NHS Dr Emeka Okorocha who believes Labour has what it takes to deliver and former Conservative Health Secretary Stephen Dorrell who says he hasn't heard anything in the plans that he didn't suggest himself years ago. It's expected to include shifting care to the community, more GPs and making it a service fully available six days a week.

3️⃣ Reform of the CQC and to bring back a focus on peer-review 4️⃣ A revolution in healthcare to never normalise the concept of an ‘avoidable death’

Key takeaways: 1️⃣ Digital tech must extend beyond centres of excellence. 2️⃣ Barriers like NHS interoperability and fragmented patient records hinder progress. 3️⃣ AI tools can optimise capacity and decision-making but must scale.

4️⃣ Self-referrals and community-based care can address late diagnoses. 5️⃣ Growing caseloads risk delays in MDT processes.
