Selective non-invasive ultrasound modulation of individual thalamic nuclei in healthy adults during fMRI. This has been one of the longest, hardest, most fun, and most exciting projects I have worked on. I could not be more excited to share it. Thank you to all involved.
1/7 Excited to finally share our new preprint on a groundbreaking non-invasive brain stimulation technology! 🧠💡 This work represents a 7-year collaboration between @ucl and @UniofOxford biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

I’m recruiting for 3-year post-doc at Oxford! I’m looking for someone to figure out new ways of dealing with contaminating signals and motion in MRSI using parallel transmit approaches (pTx). Previous experience of spectroscopy is not a requirement.

Sometimes my job feels somewhat like pushing a boulder up a very long hill and I lose sight of the fun. But last week my amazing group threw me a party to celebrate 10 years of PiNG (!) and I remembered why I do it. Thank you to every🐧, past and present. You are amazing.

StatCan just dropped a bombshell report on LC. This is the most important figure. It highlights that the risk of long term symptoms is cumulative, it increases with increasing number of infections. By 3 infections, 38% report long term symptoms — that’s 1 in every 2.6 people. 🤯
