As I gear up to teach first quarter organic, time for my annual request for pictures of nonsensical line bond formulas (example attached). Anybody got some good ones?

#chemtwitter is the Great Scintillation Vial Shortage still a thing? We lucked out and had a solid supply but ordering more seems... daunting

Here's the 2 hour update. Looks like teflon on the outside is worse than useless, though not much worse than nothing at all. Teflon on the inside is fading too, Parafilm is doing something to help, but electrical tape is the clear winner.

1(ish) hour update time: while it's hard to see by my phone, 1 and 3 are clearly fading. 2,4 and 5 all have faint discolouration at the top. 6 seems to be going strong. I should credit @bowringgroup, who did this first, and better, with glassware: pubs.rsc.org/en/content/arti…

Pretty harrowing to realize you're now older than George is in the first season of Seinfeld

Hey #ChemTwitter - I'm looking for some pictures of bad/meaningless molecules you see out in the wild (usually in ads), to include in my lectures on drawing line bond structures. Anyone got examples?
