Not impressed that I sat in the @o2uk presale waiting room and then the queue for the @BlackSabbath show only to find there were no accessible options. Zilch. Nada. They were an option on the artist presale yesterday. Have they all gone already @ticketmasteruk?

Had a non-response to my complaint to @VertuMotors @bmw to which I’m considering my response.
But it’s nice to know that the business manager is glad the gearbox failure didn’t happen in a more dangerous situation, which could have been fatal.
Car has been collected and I’ve sent a formal complaint to @VertuMotors and @BMW_UK. Within 2.5 hours corporate Vertu had passed the complaint to my local Vertu who emailed possibly one of the most patronising responses I’ve ever received. It basically reads…

It appears that “NSF output shaft not fully engaged into diff…shaft has pulled circlip out part of the way…no oil loss…no damage to teeth…suspect wear to circlip” Isn’t it amazing that another part has failed so soon…

…they’e actually going to do anything as they’ve not acknowledged a single thing I put in my email apart from inconvenience. I mean, I’ve now got a car that I no longer feel safe driving, but that’s fine because they did a brake service for free. The motoring ombudsman is next.

Not understanding car jargon, I asked for layman’s terms - got sent another load of jargon and this image - I don’t know one end of an engine from another, so this is of little help. Any car people want to tell me what I’m looking at?

There is an update to my @BMW_UK update. Replacing the vibration dampener seemed to solve the noise in the engine. However, after having the car back for 3 days and driving a total of 45 miles. The gearbox has just totally died. No forward, no reverse, no flappy paddles…

I have an update on my @VertuMotors @BMW_UK saga.
I authorised the removal of the gearbox prior to Christmas which they did and they found no issue with the torque converter and concluded it was most likely an internal failing in the gearbox which would require a replacement…

I had the EGR replaced on my car last month as part of the @BMW safety recall and the engine now sounds horrendous. Took it for a spin to see if it was something that would pass. It didn’t. Tried to get it booked it but the earliest date the call centre could give me was 29/12…
