The deepest trap most people never see is identifying with anything external as if it were their whole self, the job title, the achievements, the fame, the bank account, the body, the relationship status, the past trauma, the spiritual label, all of it, the moment you let one of them become "who you are," you've shrunk yourself into a box and handed the key to whoever controls that box, your boss, the market, the algorithm, the other person, life itself, and then anything that touches that box feels like a personal attack because in your head it literally is.
YOUR JOB IS NOT YOUR LIFE
Become unemployed. Have fun. Travel. Start a new chapter. Meet interesting people. Follow your passions. Embrace leisure. Sun gaze. Be a modern philosopher. There are no rules. Freedom is everything. Buy things without regret. Let others call you cringe. Use boredom as a tool. Create. Build. Become a polymath. Live as if every day could be your last.
Most people are depressed because they treat their jobs as if they are everything.
In reality - none of that truly matters.
You can achieve great things while enjoying life the way it’s meant to be lived.
