In a city where 2/3rds of public schools are inaccessible, NY public libraries are often the only space where disabled students can access resources such as braille books, asl courses etc audio books etc. The increasing NYPL budget cuts are a disability rights issue. Take action.

being a disabled college freshman so far: stairs to get to the elevator. if u miss more than 3 days u are dropped- even if u have COVID or are in the hospital. being told by a classmate that if I need all these accommodations I shouldn’t be at an Ivy League.
