A6: Time. Finding the time to bring kids up to speed on the basics of coding so they can start using it as a tool. I had students learn Python using CM's BT and then did many "think alouds" before they were solving problems on their own.#CMChat #CSChat #MTBOS

A5: I did this with my class. It's fun and many problems take just a few lines of code. Kids love learning how to make the computer do their work. Also, teaching someone (the computer) makes students look at the problem in a deeper way. #CMChat #CSChat #MTBOS

A4: I think this is a perfect application of coding. Coding and programming spreadsheets are made for this purpose. It's really an important skill that they'll benefit from long after the class is over. #CMChat #CSChat #MTBOS

Our JV Math Club is run by four 8th grade returning Math Club students. I turn off my audio/video for the meetings, and the coaches are made co-hosts, and off they go. The students are learning a lot of math with a good amount of laughs along the way. #usdlearns #dmslearns
