Ich hatte neulich eine Diskussion auf Tik Tok über Gaza und den Begriff „Genozid“. Zunächst kam Empörung, weil ich sagte, dass ich im Fall Gaza keinen Genozid sehe. Daraufhin habe ich juristisch erklärt, was einen Genozid ausmacht: Entscheidend ist nicht allein die Zahl der Opfer, nicht allein das Leid und auch nicht allein die Härte eines Krieges. Entscheidend ist die spezifische Absicht, eine nationale, ethnische, rassische oder religiöse Gruppe als solche ganz oder teilweise zu zerstören. Genau diese Absicht liegt nicht vor! Zum Vergleich habe ich den Genozid an den Eziden genannt: Dort waren die Vernichtungsabsicht, die gezielte Versklavung, Ermordung, Vertreibung, Zwangskonversion und Auslöschung der religiösen Identität offen erkennbar. Es ging nicht um einen militärischen Konflikt gegen eine Terrororganisation, sondern um die gezielte Zerstörung einer Gemeinschaft als solcher. Bei Juden ist eine solche Vernichtungsabsicht durch islamistische und antisemitische Ideologien dagegen sehr wohl dokumentiert: Israel soll ausgelöscht werden, Juden werden weltweit bedroht, und Terrororganisationen wie die Hamas machen aus ihrer Feindschaft gegen jüdisches Leben keinen Hehl. Am Ende hieß es dann sinngemäß: „Ja, juristisch trifft der Begriff Genozid vielleicht nicht zu, aber menschlich gesehen solltest du es trotzdem so werten.“ Nein❗❗❗❗ Auch menschlich werde ich den Begriff nicht beliebig verwenden und verwässern, nur weil das in eure Ideologie passt. Gerade weil ich Ezidin bin. Gerade weil mein Volk einen Genozid erlebt hat. Gerade weil ich weiß, was es bedeutet, wenn eine Gemeinschaft nicht nur angegriffen, sondern als Existenz ausgelöscht werden soll.
