The South Eastern University of Kenya Student Hostel Project involves construction of 5400 bed capacity hostels at the university's main campus in Kitui.
The Embu University Student Hostel Project entails construction of 4000 bed capacity at the institutions main campus. Similar to the Moi University project, the private partner will lead design, build, finance and operations for the project.
The Moi University Student Hostel project involves construction of 15,000 bed capacity hostels. Here the private sector partner will design, build, finance and operate the hostels for 20 years after which the hostels will revert to the university.
The aim of the conference is to walk potential investors through the procurement process and for the featured universities to interact with the aforementioned investors.
