Our country faces #biosecurity risks daily that threaten our health, our environment, our economy... our very way of life. The Centre of Excellence for Biosecurity Risk Analysis has protected Aust from biosecurity problems that have plagued many countries.

Come clean; go clean.
Simples.
CFA is part of every community, and for the safety and security of our agricultural communities we all need to be vigilant to biosecurity. Our farmers need us to all do our bit to keep Australia FMD free.

There are at least 12 (prob closer to 20) risk controls in place, or available, to minimise the risk of an FMD outbreak in Australia and work continues to refine them.
We've all got a role to play - be alert, but not alarmed.

I was fortunate to be one of the last in a long line of Ag dept. (then DPI) 'cadets' in 2003 - which raised a few eyebrows in my farming family at the time - and it was the beginning of a rewarding career in biosecurity.
