FIFA World Cup 2026: I'm no soccer expert, but I do understand sport (its basic concepts, whatever code, aren't that complicated), & I've watched Australia at FIFA World Cups for years now. This 2026 Oz team looks decidedly more natural & capable than the rest. Time will tell...

Australian Politics: Wow! Interesting. Take the prime ministerial pension and run? One Nation's first scalp?
Anthony Albanese may be quietly considering a near-term exit from politics, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell - pointing to clues he won't be Labor leader next election. skynews.com.au/australia-new…

What has Anthony Albanese achieved - aside from tax hikes? 🤔

Starmer said the Henry Nowak tragedy should Not be Politicised. So he invites the parents to Downing Street in full view of the Press

UK politics: Whaaat! That you've made so many families so poor that the Government has to give their children breakfast? That's an achievement?
We’ve hit a big landmark – 10 million free breakfasts served. 10 million better days at school – more children turning up, concentrating, getting on. 10 million easier mornings for parents – better drop-offs & commutes. Change doesn’t happen by chance, it comes with Labour. 🌹

Such a wonderful milestone - the difference a @UKLabour government makes!

War on Woke: Suella has perfectly described institutional capture, using so-called third party collectives (and NGOs), which morphs to the "deep State". If you get the top, the stuff below follows, especially in neo-military, command career-structure worlds like this...
When I was Home Secretary, the National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC) asked me to fund their ‘Race Action Plan’. I refused their repeated requests, telling them that it was wrong and that they should instead focus on a ‘Knife Crime Action Plan,’ which I would support. They never did. It is regrettable that this disastrous plan went ahead years later. The NPCC - basically a council of the Woke Chiefs- is destroying policing.

Remember boys and girls, try not to politicise political issues politicians would rather you not draw attention to today.

UK politics: With all due respect to the Nowak family, it is not their call. This is a public policy issue & about the implications for other people across the community. As hard & sad as it is, people like the Nowaks do not get a "victims' veto" on public and policy debate...
The scenes this evening in Portswood are completely unacceptable. The Nowak family made a powerful call to us all yesterday to not let Henry’s death be used to create further division, hatred or tension. There can be no justification for hijacking this tragedy to stir up violence and disorder. Those responsible can expect to face the full force of the law. I thank the police who have tonight shown great bravery and calm in the face of disgraceful violence directed at them.
