The lines on our Usu Mino (#Kizukishi) #Japanese#paper come from the #handmade process used in its creation. Made by layering the floating #mulberry evenly on top of a 'Sugeta' a Japanese paper making tool made from bamboo, creating a screen on which the fibres settle.

Rolls of material, like #tyvek or tissue paper are often bound with #packing tape. This ruins the leading edge of the roll with the adhesive, or in trying to cut it off. Like the roll shown in the image above. This is often discarded as unusable.
Looking for ways of reducing waste, particularly plastics or #packaging. Our eco-wrap #roll wrappers, devised by PEL, don't adhere to the surface of our materials. The part of the roll that could have otherwise been damaged by packing tapes is in good condition & OK for use 😀
