BREAKING: CONSTITUTIONAL SHOWDOWN! Trump vows to change voting laws without Congress. Donald Trump is saying the quiet part out loud — again. In a jaw-dropping post, the former president vowed to impose new voter ID requirements ahead of the midterm elections “whether approved by Congress or not.” Yes, you read that correctly. Not pass a law. Not persuade lawmakers. Just… do it. Trump has long pushed for stricter voter ID rules, claiming they’re necessary to stop voter fraud — despite mountains of evidence showing that voter fraud in U.S. elections is exceedingly rare. Courts, audits, and even Trump’s own officials have repeatedly confirmed that widespread fraud simply isn’t happening. But facts have never slowed him down. In his latest message, Trump accused Democrats of refusing to support voter ID because they “want to continue to cheat in Elections.” He claimed he has discovered some “irrefutable” legal argument and promised there “will be Voter I.D. for the Midterm Elections, whether approved by Congress or not.” That’s not policy — that’s a power grab. The Constitution gives states the primary authority to run elections, with Congress empowered to set federal standards. The president does not get to unilaterally rewrite voting laws because he doesn’t like them. Democrats and voting rights advocates argue that strict voter ID laws disproportionately impact minority communities, seniors, students, and low-income voters — groups less likely to have certain forms of identification. That’s why the fight over voter access has become one of the defining battles of the midterm cycle. Trump also floated restricting mail-in voting, allowing exceptions only for the military, illness, disability, or travel — despite the fact that mail voting has been used safely for decades across red and blue states alike. Let’s be clear: Threatening to bypass Congress to change how Americans vote isn’t about “election integrity.” It’s about control. In a democracy, leaders don’t get to rewrite the rules mid-game. If Trump thinks he can simply will new voting laws into existence, he’s not just challenging Congress — he’s testing the limits of the Constitution itself. Please like and share to spread the news of this latest MAJOR threat to our democracy!

Dear @ChristinaK12 . Your property tax increases this year are astronomical. I spoke to your CFO who tried to baffle me w numbers & %s. One clear message he gave was that he expects a lot of defaults this yr. Duh. Did u consider that a smaller increase would mean fewer defaults?

Dear @Redken5thAve, I'm very upset with you for discontinuing the Curvaceous hair products. It always seems to happen that when you find a product you love, it gets discontinued. Wanted you to know.

I found 2 online articles today from deep red states concerned about the firings of civil servants in those states. The articles bemoaned the loss of services they performed. I expect more red states are or soon will realize similar fallout. Hopefully some eyes will be opened.

BREAKING: MAGA world erupts in rage as American hero Harriet Tubman is finally awarded the rank of One-Star Brigadier General in the Maryland National Guard. And it gets so much better... "Today we celebrate one of the greatest authors of the American story," said Maryland's Democratic Governor Wes Moore at a Veterans Day ceremony. Dozens of veterans and generals attended the event at the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park. The historic bestowing of rank comes roughly 160 years after Harriet Tubman bravely led Union troops as they raided Combahee Ferry in South Carolina — resulting in the freeing of over 700 slaves. In addition to being an abolitionist, Tubman served in the Union Army as a nurse and later as a spy and scout. Not surprisingly, Trump supporters are flooding social media with their rage, insisting that Tubman doesn't deserve her new rank. As usual, the motivation is pure unadulterated racism. At a time when America's future seems uncertain and racist forces are once again ascendent in our political landscape, it's important that we remember heroes like Tubman. Her belief in a better future should inspire us to fight for the same. Please retweet and ❤️ if you fully support granting Harriet Tubman the rank of general — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. .@JoeBiden @KamalaHarris Thank you both so much for your service. You've done great things. Now you have 2 months to try to preserve it as best you can so he cannot undo it all. My prayers are with you.

If the @Eagles win this game, it will be despite Sirianni, not because of him.

So @DaveMcCormickPA claims he supports exceptions on abortion bans for the life of the mother. My question: just how close to death does she have to get before your "exceptions" kick in???

Just a thought ... there is an easy way to resolve the funding problem for Social Security. Remove the salary cap. Period. Simple.

MTG's day just went from bad to worse, first she gets thrown out of the Freedumb Caucus, and then Dark Brandon throws her under the bus while touting #Bidenomics in South Carolina. Don't you just love to see it, I know I do? #wtpBlue #DemVoice1 #DemsAct

It appears that Putin has not learned the lessons of history for leaders who hire mercenaries. One must keep the mercenaries happy or they could easily turn their fighting prowess on you.
