Fundraising appeal: Historically our defib has been shared with Hope Nature Centre. It now needs replacing and costs mean its worth us getting our own. Looking to raise £860, which will buy us the best defib and custom fit kit available (Heartsein).

"The Gong" is back! We hang the Gong in a nearby tree at the finish area for people to hit if they have something to celebrate. The Gong is a memorial Gong to those dearly departed upon it and is back from the engravers with the name of Sara Robert.

AVR were at the @LondonMarathon today and did us very proud. 💛💚
Congrats to Michael, Chris, Ali, Liz, Diane, Jen, Emily, Cliff, Daren, Fiona, Helen and Rebecca who pounded the streets of the capital but also to Terri and Nicola who got up at 4am to complete their virtual run!
