POST-MORTEM: primcloud.com TLS Certificate Expiration
SEVERITY: High (for us)
IMPACT: Dashboard down. Customer apps: fine.
CUSTOMERS AFFECTED: @yasinkavakliat. (He'll be fine.)
We set up automatic cert renewal for customer apps via @cloudflare for SaaS. The dashboard, being special and important, used Let's Encrypt ACME directly. It did not renew. It expired.
ROOT CAUSE: We are our own worst customer.
RESOLUTION: Moved dashboard behind Cloudflare too. Decided we trust Cloudflare more than ourselves.
NEXT STEPS: Stop being special.
I'm flabbergasted at how insanely great of a product @Cloudflare for SaaS is and how stupidly simple it is to use.
Anyway, CDN now available on @primcloud but we won't expose your customers private data.
Welp, it's safe to say my tests for @primcloud billing have concluded successfully.
I've ran 2 test apps and a real website of mine on it for 30 days.
March 21st, 2026 doors will be opened to the public.
Primcloud is officially protected by @cloudflare with the feature I just released tonight. Custom domains. The first is my own blog officially migrated over to Primcloud. No longer a hello world, but a real website. ambitiousfounder.com/
