4/@primevr2 is aimed at creating a digital environment using VR to embed within rehabilitation programmes. Using VR, patients can benefit from bespoke controllers to carry out exercises that support with their strength and movement.

3/ Andreasβ work is part of the wider @primevr2 project which is by the European Commission, under the Horizon 2020 initiative. This is a collaborative project, with a combination of academic and industrial partners working alongside hospitals and rehabilitation centres.

2/ Dystonia is a neurological movement disorder that causes uncontrollable and, often painful, muscle spasms. It is an under-researched area of medicine, and people with dystonia can respond to different treatments to varying degrees.
