Thanks for the comments, peeps. I miss the community for sure. Went silent for a long while but turning a new leaf for the fun of it. Lots of crazy water under the bridge in the last few years. Stories to tell. More fun to be had. Soon enough. Love to all the OG 3DP crew!!

Grok must have an algorithm that makes you look better than you actually do. My wife said “that looks like a friendly man”. (As opposed to how I actually look! ) Ha!

Asked Grok to draw a Printrbot 3D printer ad -art deco style. Score!Flattered by the response. then asked for a Printrbot Simple. Ah, Ok?! Nice / not nice. Love it anyway, though. That is my 1st & 2nd Grok experience… akin to a vanity search. A design vanity search? Fun.

Posted files earlier today. It’s a real thing. I have made a few. They all worked, but needed refinement. The magic is in the settings / software. It’s not anything revolutionary, but it IS different. Which, from my perspective, is needed and totally fun.

Marlin has dual scara arm kinematics baked in, does it not? All the open source firmwares, I believe. Thanks to Pontus Borg, if I am not mistaken. Wonderful and brilliant guy!

My favorite print I have ever made was done on this printer I just posted the files for. Yes, I plastic welded a few pieces together, sanded and painted it… but it brings me joy every… single… day. Proof that it does print. Btw: it’s “winged victory”.

Thinking about publishing some old stuff I sort of held close to the chest. I’m in a good place and I want to let go of all of it. AND do some new stuff for pure fun. Missing the community. My best to all.

Brian Roe and I are showing our VWs in a couple weeks in Auburn, CA for Cruize Night…. This is the stuff I’ve been dreaming about for years. Two friends showing the cars they dreamed about in high school. Neither are worth much.. just a tribute to who we are and simple fun.
