No school ever regrets going phone-free. Benefits are large and come quickly. Tell the head of your child's school that you want kids to attend to each other, and to their teachers, not their phones. I collect research on phone-free schools here: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

A school gave lockable phone-pouches to kids to stop phone usage during school day. Massive reduction in disruption, exclusions, truancy. Big increase in student interaction, co-operation and play. spectator.co.uk/article/the-…

My family has been taken to Gaza. We don't know their medical condition, we know that if my uncle isn't released soon he could die, he has a degenerative disease and needs treatment. They are European citizens. I need anyone with any contacts to get in touch with me ASAP.

Good luck to all the PhD students this week, where all their family try to understand what they do and ask when they will be done.

We're creating a neurodiversity-affirming measure of parent-child interaction, by taking into account the values and experiences of families where parents and/or children are autistic or have ADHD. We're looking for parents of children aged 9 months to share their insights…

Hey people, if anyone here is a native German speaker living in Vienna, please consider joining the CogSciHub Student Participant Platform (SPP) spp.cogsci.univie.ac.at to take part in a study I'm running. It might not even be boring! Cheers!

Every person the Russians murder in Ukraine has a name and a story.
Oksana Leontieva, a doctor in children's bone marrow transplant department, took her 5 year old son to kindergarten yesterday and was driving to work when Russian rockets hit. Her son is now an orphan - his dad died six months ago, his mom yesterday

I think Barcelona is the most celiac-friendly city I've ever been to. So many #glutenfree options everywhere! #impressed

Oh my god, this technology exists! Are there any reasons not to use these radars EVERYWHERE now? I can't think of one!
"A jacked-up motorcycle in the middle of the night can easily wake up 10,000 people." More cities in #France install "Méduse" anti-noise radars, which have 4 microphones, camera to automatically ticket vehicles that exceed a certain number of decibels ouest-france.fr/pays-de-la-l…
