Here's some happy dogs and a trip to the woods to cure you of... whatever's happening on here.

I just briefly forgot the word 'pulp' and instead said "oh man, orange juice sounds *so good* - except without the lint."

I don't know if I have a specific favorite, but here's a few I'm quite proud of
The world needs more objective beauty today. Show me your favorite photo you have taken. This one may be mine. It’s hard to choose.

The ability to look at a thing and decide 'oh this is simply not for me' and walk away without announcing your grievance is a skill that people should practice more often.

People be handing over their right to privacy for an illusion of safety for unknown strangers that may not exist. Parents are responsible for their children, not websites. I used to be able to hang out in a bar as a kid if I wasn't buying alcoholic drinks. Bevmo did that whole "I want to scan your ID for purchases" nonsense back in the 2000s but I was like "I'm buying fancy root beer, what are you on. I have cash, and you're going to take it" A few years later they had signs saying it was for ALL purchases, and I stopped going there even though I was 21 by then.

Periodic reminder that PETA's end goal is the complete eradication of all domesticated species, because they believe that humans should have no hand in or influence upon nature.

A boy and his birds. Chickens get a bad rap for being dumb, but they know the difference between the dog who means them no harm and the one who does.

Bite-size and full-size! Flintlock is 6 months, Rurik is 3 years. Flintlock is probably going to outgrow his brother a little in terms of height.

I know I cannot convince people how toxic a thing despair is, that this is something everyone has to learn for himself. But, having been there myself, I must stress that it is immensely poisonous to your soul, physical health, & your relationships. You must choose against it.

I need a company that's loyal to salt. "Now with less sodium!!!" No. Make it saltier.

I don't know anything about The Discourse here but I think the bit about being mindful of actually hearing who's speaking rather than letting people who have hurt you in the past color your current conversation is a really important thing we could all be better at.
John Piper’s little commentary at the end was paralleling God delivering the Israelites out of Egypt with Christians being delivered from the bondage of sin and death. I really think he just posted this to make that observation after reading the verse but people are automatically assuming that he was using this to make a political statement and it concerns me and also makes me pause and examine my own reactions to things. How often do we just react to what we think is being said, react to what we assume, vs taking the time to really make sure we understand what another person was saying before we jump down their throats? Do we KNOW that’s what they are actually saying or is that just what we heard because we have been so contaminated by “the discourse”. This is something I have struggled with from time to time. I will hear someone say a thing I associate with another thing and immediately get on edge. This is something I have struggled not to do with my younger brother, for instance. He will say a thing and it raises the alarm bells because I have heard awful people say that same thing and so in my mind I associate that thing with the awful person’s worldview. Oh but maybe I need to calm down for a second and ask what he means by that instead of immediately jumping into attack mode. My mind recognises a pattern and I panic instead of asking if I could be mistaken. That is what many people seem to be doing here. I genuinely do not think, based on the comment he made, that he meant to make more of a statement than what is actually said in his tweet. Just like the Israelites were commanded to treat the sojourner with love, having been delivered out of Egypt, so we as Christians are to treat the unbeliever with love, knowing the bandage we were delivered from. That seems to be the parallel he is trying to draw with this verse.
