In awe at the sheer cognitive dissonance required to post a picture like this yet support the Green Party who would veto every single one of those skyscrapers at their planning committee
Britain with Proportional Representation instead of First Past the Post.

Upon the sad passing of Lord Hattersley, I am reminded of this brilliant anecdote of how he set in motion Granita and the creation of New Labour, no doubt motivated by regrets over the fracturing of the Labour right in 1976 between Healey, Crosland, and Jenkins. RIP

Roy Hattersley was a giant of the Labour movement. Through decades of service, including as deputy leader and a minister, he never lost his belief in a more equal Britain. My thoughts are with his wife Maggie and his family.

Britain losing access to Claude fable isn’t on the BBC or Times homepage, 4th on the guardian, 7th on the FT and below the fold on the Telegraph. What are we doing here?

More than any other party, I struggle to get into the head of the modern Lib Dem voter. What is the underlying philosophy? Who are they and why are they so illiberal?

Deal. Anyone who has lived in Soho since the 1840s can have a quiet bubble around their house. Everyone else, of course, has zero excuse.

Lovely gesture from BBC Sport to commend Mexico for their first World Cup since 2010 (having appeared at every tournament since) and their promising qualifying campaign (non-existent, as they are co-hosts)

This is a disgraceful and baseless briefing against John Healey and they should retract it immediately.

“Capitalists and greedy profiteering shareholders are putting up your food prices!!!! It’s absolutely evil and exploitative, and…” *gets handed note* “ah, hm. Well,”
Supermarkets are consistently undercutting small & independent businesses whilst exploiting workers. Let's make sure everyone has a wage where they can live in dignity and stop the hoarding of wealth by the super rich.

Yet to watch the miniseries, but people who blindly hate on 'Dear England' because "what a dumb story Southgate never won anything" or "haha dumb footballer impressions" have an embarrassing lack of media literacy. The play was brilliant! Sharply written with an uplifting story

EXCL: The shrinking Labour Growth Group suffered because some of its MP members 'lacked any interest in the growth agenda’ and only signed up because ‘they saw it as the loyalist faction that might advance their careers’, party insiders have told me.

I find the precedent of revoking people's visas due to their political views fundamentally illiberal. But I also think the leftist response, to pretend the Uygur/Piker decision is merely due to "criticism of Israel" and not support for violent terrorist groups, disingenuous
