This morning I have been hired as a Senior Lead iOS AR Architect/Engineer! I will personally fund @protopadapp seeking investment from Supermoon Capital for pre-seed on initial rollout of @cerebelleapp for multimodal sleep & BCI research. It's a GOOD Friday! Battlemode... OFF.

@protopadapp for iPadOS has been updated to replace and fix deprecated functions that prevented acceptance to the App Store and is being resubmitted, along with new updates to the ARKit 5 node & script functionality. We're once again seeking App Store approval 2/ these updates.

Updated @protopadapp to ARKit 5, rerunning test scene. Adding AR location anchors & a few other features (load/save world), make little mini-game at the park. Make a simple puzzle/obstruction game w/ EEG to move objects up/down w/ brainwaves, Ukaton insoles to kick/smash objects?

App Store submission update: cause for rejections (CoreUI deprecations/performance issues) found. See below for more info.
I haven't been keeping up with deprecations, and it looks like Apple is beginning to enforce things much more strictly. Turns out the rejections I got for ProtoPad were from old code that used the old delegate based UI animation API which needs to be converted to blocks-based...
Cleared out a ton of old frameworks & code from @protopadapp, this submission should fix the CoreUI performance dependency rejection from App Store. Resubmitted and waiting for review once again π€πΎ

Decided to make the initial version of ProtoPad 100% free with a tip jar will seek support via Patreon for individuals businesses that I integrate HW or SW, for those that would like to support ProtoPad. If response is underwhelming, will change models & shift strategies.

If anyone was concerned about the local network permission upon startup in previous versions of @protopadapp it was for the local Web/WebDAV server for syncing and uploading assets over the network. This is now turned off by default, can turn on manually if you'd like to use it.
