This is the first time T1 has been reverse swept since they were reversed by KT in 2016. It’s the first reverse sweep ever by Dplus KIA. No one believed in them. No one thought they could do it. They had their backs against the wall and didn’t give up. True competitors!

On top of this loss, BFX used their second toilet pause of the tournament. This, according to the rulebook, means they will either pay a 3mil won fine or be given a penalty. Would be very unfortunate for them if they have a penalty in the lower bracket finals in Hong Kong.

Since LCK started in 2012, this will be the first ever grand finals hosted overseas. It was only a matter of time before we started to travel! I think there's even potential to see roadshows expanded domestically for playoffs. I'd love to cast LCK in Vietnam or the Philippines!

With the rebrand of Afreeca to SOOP, a name change felt inevitable. Ultimately, the name I made jokes about on LCK podcasts is what we got. I’m self-aware that I hate change and love tradition, but I think the fans really liked Freecs and it grew on me over the years. I’m sad.

KeSPA Cup for T1 just felt like a Peyz showcase. He played 10 unique champions and dominated; T1 almost exclusively played through bottom lane and gave him unlimited opportunities. I really enjoyed the marathon that @Atlustv and I cast over the last 8 days! 57/60 possible games!
