In PSL weβre seeing ads/activations more than 60 times in a single game. And this doesnβt even include the ads between overs.
So basically, weβre just getting a little bit of cricket action between all the ads π
After paying βΉ118 crore, Star Sports isnβt showing ads for the DC vs PBKS match, lol.
Iβve been watching for an hour on TV and still havenβt seen a single ad.

Was counting sponsor activations in a PSL match (both innings) and it came out to nearly 60 mentionsβ¦ maybe even more. Thatβs a lot for one game. Feels like commentators are just constantly plugging sponsors. Havenβt really seen this level in other leagues. Honestly ridiculous.

The IPL clash has really hurt the PSL, especially with broadcasters.
There was a time when FOX, Sky UK, SuperSport, Sky NZ and Sony were all on board. Now just look at the list⦠hardly any big global names left.

If PCB is planning to rebuild the same kind of infrastructure after demolishing this one, then whatβs the point? Just add a roof that doesnβt block the spectatorsβ view.
Pakistan needs at least 2β3 world-class stadiums that meet international standards, with state-of-the-art infrastructure β not the same old rounded stands again.
