Love to see examples of corporate world (imagine a law office or bank) doing theme dress weeks teachers and students do. Examples are pride week, and spirit week but all theme days as well. Band shirts, jerseys, Halloween, pink shirt day, orange shirt day, clan/house colours etc.

A day in the life of a teacher:
Arrive 30 min early for extra help before a test p1.
Administer test p1, run to the bathroom in the 5 min transition. Prep during P2 some coverage and mark like crazy. Go to school chapel service(anglican boys choir school) 1/n

Have to address issues and league team discipline and suspensions for penalties. Take taxi for 35 min to pickup my own kids feed them and get them started on HW, walk dog while stewing on my students. Start my next day with a text from my Athletic Director trying arrange a 4/n

Is there a more inclusive word/phrase to describe the first organisms in an ecosystem? I'm teaching succession and I want to avoid using 'colonizers' if I can.

I went to school in TBay, but indigenous fire practices (despite taking forestry classes) was not one of my majors and would love to share the knowledge and perspective of an indigenous fire ecologist with my students.

Sometimes when Iβm down and Iβm feeling very imposterish, I remember that I was once one of the 15 best baseball players and one of the best 19 ice hockey players in my hometown of 38,000 in 1996. That helps.
