I’ve been seeing a lot of TikToks about how hard it is to get a job nowadays I remember around a year ago I applied for an app marketing job. It was entry level, just needed some income while growing my biz I had bootstrapped my own app to 150k users at this point. I got an interview at the company. I explained my background on the call, my experience with growing my app and the apps of others via my consultancy. At the end of the interview, they told me I “would get bored too easily”, and rejected me for the job That was around the time I stopped applying for jobs and decided to start my own business instead, simply because it seemed easier than getting a conventional job. It really is rough out there, I feel for people in the market rn
