I wanted a building that fit the shape of a wide card without any sky in it, but wasn't a boring box either. The NHM is one of my favorite museums ever! It isn't a perfect rectangle but was simple to adapt to this shape.

I love learning about the rich diversity in LA and how it's represented in its architecture. I wanted to reflect some of that in my game as well. This mosque is one of the few in town that has a minaret!

This is home to the LA branch of Hawk Anamorphic: When I saw the ivy-covered building on the train ride I knew I wanted it in my deck.
It took some work to figure out how to translate it into a card, but we settled on this textured look.

The vibrant colors of this historic street had to take a back seat for players to understand which parts could score points, but I had fun adding little details to these store fronts that celebrate Mexican culture.

Today we have the Tower Theatre on Broadway. This card started out as a church when I sketched it, but I had a 2nd church design so I looked for a building that would fit the silhouette. I liked this theatre's clock for "The Times" bonus goal!

This is the Metro Headquarters Building at One Gateway Plaza! It was one of the first buildings I sketched when I came up with the idea for the game, you can't miss it when you're on the train to Union Station!
