Earlier this summer, the Public Progress team organized a Drop-In Community Consultation and BBQ to welcome @CovenantHouseToronto to the neighbourhood as the operator of a new 50-bed shelter for youth at Dufferin and St Clair, opening in 2027!

Supportive housing like this at 185 Cummer Avenue in North York can be the difference between spending your golden years homeless or continuing to have a place to call home. This morning, I joined everyone to celebrate the installation of the first parts of this modular project.
