I have been experimenting with having Claude Code and Codex pair program together and roleplay where Claude is Jeff Dean and Codex is Sanjay… The results have been great so far and no fancy setup is needed

Seems like it. I have NOT talked to the folks doing the work, but I'm guessing the intermixing of the widgets from the core framework makes any notion of clean history preservation pretty tricky and of questionable value vs cost/complexity.

Aan het einde van de oorlog (in Dutch only) tells the story of the final 24 hours of a concentration camp near the end of world war 2. Hearing the same events told from many perspectives gives the story remarkable breadth and depth. Easy four stars. 📝: puf.io/books/aan-het-einde-v…

Critical to note: (at some point) we will have an ~equal number of removals from flutter/flutter.

Very first time I did code gen with ChatGPT to build a TensorFlow neural network, it copied one of my course samples word for word. Didn't know to be flattered or upset!

Gemini now has an option to import memory from other agents. 👏 It's a nice start, but what I really want them to do is to synchronize memory automatically, periodically, and between all agents. Don't tell me to join *your* walled garden. Instead, make them all interoperate.

One shots are nonsense when the corpus is well documented. Try that again, but you can’t use the word Minecraft. x.com/shanselman/status/2019…

Claude 5 Fable (high) “Make a Minecraft clone” I’m stunned.. it made this in 20 minutes, one shot. Multiple Biomes, day time/night time, different ores, Caves & more!

I see more and more companies dropping the uppercase characters at the start of their sentences. I hope they realize that lowercase sentence openers won't make their startup look like Linear or Vercel. You can't borrow credibility by dropping caps.

If you've ever wondered whether LLMs were trained on your code: yes, probably. Here's how I found fingerprints of my own answers on Stack Overflow in ChatGPT's output. puf.io/posts/was-chatgpt-tra…

Hey @firebase friends (like @peterfriese, @NoheDev and @sgnagnarella) 👋 It seems that the Firebase console now allows you to save invalid Firestore security rules. Seems like a regression bug to me, though I didn't check extensively. Worth a look? reddit.com/r/Firebase/commen…

Just finished Aan het einde van de oorlog by Bert Natter. A fresh take on a deservedly well-covered period of history. The story is told through dozens of perspectives, as events unfold over a single hectic day near the end of World War II. ★★★★☆ puf.io/books/aan-het-einde-v…

Tooth﹠Nail continues the Mutants﹠Modified book series by putting classic fairy tale characters into a late Victorian steampunk setting. This time: vampires, gargoyles, and one of Cinderella's evil stepsisters as the protagonist. 🧛‍♀️ Full review: puf.io/books/tooth-and-nail-…

📖🕵️‍♀️ The Thousand-Dollar Tan Line delivers all the twists and misdirections you'd expect from a Veronica Mars mystery. Kristen Bell's narration, especially her Mac and Wallace voices, makes the audiobook worth it. Rating: ★★★★☆ Full review: puf.io/books/the-thousand-do…

Having multiple local copies of "small" LLM models is turning into a modern-day version of DLL hell. 😳

📍🗺️ Geoqueries on Firestore used to mean geohashes and 5.4x read overhead. 💸 With multi-field inequalities, you can now drop that overhead to ~1.3x. But there's a catch: you now pay for index scans. Those *are* much cheaper, but... details 👇 puf.io/posts/how-to-perform-… 1/2

If your project is on the new Firestore Enterprise edition, you can now use native geoqueries. 👏 For those of us on the good-old original Firestore though, the above workaround is still the best way to go. 📍 2/2
