I will not repeat this, saying after a longish run in humid Mumbai, so listen to this very carefully:
UPSCjeets need not worry for any easy hire & fire policy (or proposed short services like Karmaveer) on them. They are, and will always remain, the crème de la crème of India’s merit. They should utilise and heavily monetise their short but rich experience (of managing large resources) in private firms esp in foreign lands. Bring those much needed dollars back in India. Some may even give tax free! World is your cradle. Some countries in Africa or Asia could be eager to welcome you (& your skill sets) for any sum you ask. You people can always come back. Please leave the permanent crutches of government and thereby its associated systemic corruption. Then, having acquired foreign/ private experience, you may even become a well deserved minister or ministerial secreteries that this nation needs.

I studied history earnestly (maybe even scientifically) and that too written by so-called all inclusive left ecosystem. Found nearly nothing on ‘systemic oppression’. Not even a 1 or 5 mark question on it. In any case, such erudite scholars never enumerate and justify the basis for such arbitrary percentage values put. Every single admission apart from straightforward cut-off should be case to case basis after thorough background check. Their living condition, family wealth. It surely incurs high administrative cost and high scope of corruption. But it is what it is. First reform the system. Have proper checks and balances in system. Create high trust society first. Then you earn the right to announce percentage numbers during your election campaigns but that too should be backed by deep demographic and socioeconomic research work.

This govt (with their entire PR and media coterie) is too much in the face. Please just work silently in the background 🙏. Last I heard, we weren’t in a monarchy.
I just don’t care who even is the PM or next PM. How about you bring in considerable improvement in QoL and people casually say ‘nice works going on, wonder who is the leader/ PM behind all this change’.
Too much to ask?

Any government indulging in any PR work or paid media using taxpayer fund, if proven, should be punishable by law with 5 years of incarceration.
But for that the financial audit agencies and judiciary should step up. Not to mention the legislators, who themselves won’t ever bring such bills to pass.

We have enough land for setting up any-scale industries and ship whatever the international markets may or may not need/ want. Just glance outside the airplane windows next time you fly.
We just have people, that are part of garbage ecosystem, as bottlenecks.

Someone should properly document everything that’s happening in Indian economy now. It would be at par with the movie the Big Short.
SEBI red flagging a major fraud that could very well be just tip of iceberg of things to come. Tweets flying everywhere questioning many things. GDP figures itself under Big question. A govt tweet handle quickly covering up by asking every district for true grounds-up (bottom up model) GDP.
