When Birmingham's politicians post about Black Sabbath today remind them that without venues like The Crown, Electric or Futurist (all closed) then chances of today's working class Brummies changing the world through art like Sabbath did are almost nonexistent. Demand they act.

Also whilst weโre at it. Why have companies like @PrettyGreenltd @fredperry @Lyle_and_Scott opened outlets in the Birminghamโs most ignored commercial route in Link Street then inevitably closed down. Footfall and presence are entirely different things.

Iโm sick and tired of how dark the streets are in the City Centre, itโs embarrassing. How can leaders expect anyone to feel safe walking down streets like this?

Dimming street lights will damage our NTE and make people feel less safe when out in the evening. It also undermines Bhamโs transport plan, which aims to encourage walking and cycling. Itโs inexcusable, particularly when so many city centre streets are already effectively unlit.

The current Govt plan of sending trains up west coast mainline wonโt work unless trains are shorter than ones we use today, & there is a huge bill of upgrades
