Mesa picked up its 3rd consecutive win to improve to 3-1 in conference play with a lopsided 52-10 win over Adams St last Saturday.
Mesa’s RB Brandon Belgrave was a workhorse, and he got the job done, carrying the ball 16 times for 163 yards for an astonishing 10.2 yards per carry average
Redshirt Freshman WR Noah Greer provided the spark for a 28 point 2nd half with an impressive 88 yard kickoff return for a TD in the 3rd quarter.
The Mesa defense was solid, limiting Adams St to 81 yards rushing and 10 points for the game.
