The financial system has managed #settlement risk for decades through margin and pre-funding. Atomic settlement doesn't reduce that risk. It eliminates the gap that creates it.
Central banks and major financial market infrastructures across the globe are already moving.

The countdown is on.
On 25 June, we're sponsoring @UKFtweets's Digital Innovation Summit in London.
@gverdian takes the stage for 'Tokenisation and GBTD showcase: the art of the possible' alongside Ryan Hayward (Barclays) and Peter Left (Lloyds Banking Group).
The session will include a live video demo of @GBTD, insights from the pilot, and a look at what comes next, including how the initiative maps to the National Payments Vision.

✅ Day 1 at @money2020 complete! We witnessed incredible conversations, great energy, and a happy hour that brought the industry together.
Day 2 is well underway. Find us at stand 5E10 - it's not too late to come and meet the team behind the international standards for blockchain and interoperability.
Here's what's waiting for you:
➡️ Live demo: watch a tokenised deposit settle in seconds on Quant rails
➡️ Walk-through: see how Quant connects to existing core banking systems and blockchain networks
➡️ Meet with our commercial team: map your pilot-to-production roadmap
We set the standard. Then we built the technology. Come and see what that looks like in practice.

Stablecoins dominate headlines. But McKinsey's latest research points to a much larger shift already underway.
Major banks are already moving more than $4 trillion annually through #tokeniseddeposit infrastructure. An order of magnitude larger than #stablecoins, and embedded directly into institutional payment, liquidity, and #treasury workflows.
The constraint isn't the technology. It's #interoperability. Most tokenised deposits sit on proprietary blockchains that don't talk to each other, recreating the fragmentation blockchain was supposed to solve.
McKinsey flags 2026 as the year this has to be proven.
This is where Quant is focused. Helping institutions issue, settle, and manage tokenised deposits within the systems they already use.

The UK is rebuilding the infrastructure of money in real time.
At City Week, the Bank of England outlined what's happening: a #digitalgilt, #stablecoin rules this year, 16 firms going live in the Digital Securities Sandbox, and a synchronisation service settling tokenised transactions in central bank money by 2028.
As Sarah Breeden put it, RT2 is a "parked Ferrari", and it's now out on a test drive.
When every asset is tokenised, the question of who is authorised to move value, and under what conditions, becomes foundational.
That's the design question we've been building for.

Hospitality finance breaks in predictable places.
Revenue splits calculated at month-end on spreadsheets. Invoices that can't keep up with changing event details. Cash positions that require manual consolidation across a dozen accounts before anyone can see the full picture.
Read our latest article where we explore these challenges and what structured automation looks like when it's built around the way hospitality businesses work: quant.network/perspectives/w…#HospitalityFinance#FinanceAutomation#QuantFlow
The UK's mandatory 60-day payment cap removes the mutual consent exemption that previously let businesses agree to longer terms, closing a loophole that had undermined earlier reforms.
With implementation expected in 2027, there's time to prepare properly. That means auditing every contract with terms beyond 60 days, mapping real payment performance against stated terms, and making sure your #APprocess is ready.

Settlement risk has always been managed, never eliminated. Margin, pre-funding, reconciliation teams, all of it exists because of a gap the industry has accepted as inevitable.
Atomic settlement changes that assumption.
Our latest article covers how #DvP works across tokenised assets, why #tokeniseddeposits beat stablecoins for institutional settlement, and where it's being tested now:
