Missouri officially passes Amendment 3, codifying abortion rights into law.
This is despite anti-trans attacks against the amendment, stating it would allow "sex change surgeries on young kids," a common Republican line against abortion rights amendments.

MO is one of just 4 states where the infant mortality rate > 2021-22. This is largely result of policy decisions by our pro-forced birth legislature— rural hospital closures, cuts to safety net services, and limiting access to repro healthcare. It doesn’t have to be this way.

Rockwood did NOT take advantage of the loophole in the Hancock Amendment. Prop 3 is a levy transfer which by definition nets to zero. That means ZERO new taxes.

It’s a tax hike. Per MO Constitution, @rockwoodschools is required to reduce the tax rate due to the 18% assessment increase in 2023. By having us approve the rate, they get to bank the 18% gain from the assessments. You might support it, but you shouldn’t be misleading voters.
