5 hrs into chicken pox isolation…was a all ready to be the caring mum looking after the poorly child. Instead i have a hyperactive 3yr old on my hands who won’t give me five mins to play with his younger brother! 12 years as a paediatrician did not prepare me for this🤪

Watching Bake off extra slice in the background whilst on phone and feeding child 2…. Ie not really paying attention. Dexcom G7 advert comes on. The demonstration of the early hypo alarm made me jump! Normally that’s reserved for mid morning or middle of the night- not 8pm #cgm

Thanks to the #kindness of the fellow passengers on the @northernassist/@EastMidRailway on our three train journey between Sheffield and Luton last night! Myself, the 3yr old, 7wk old and a buggy all made it down in one piece. Do wish there was a 1 stop/ direct option still tho!

🚨 It's crazy that the NHS has told 350 doctors training in anaesthesia that the NHS has no job for them after 3 years training.

This is terrible. As someone who’s “only unwell when pregnant” & had multiple prescriptions last time and is heading for countless more this time, the cost would be extortionate. Response from DOH poor. Guidance only exists if your professional told you.
