Emma is playing some fantastic tennis right now and it's great to see.
Yesterday, it was bad luck that her match couldn't be played due to the rain all day and she has to play two matches today.
Emma came through brilliantly against Sorana Cirstea, but her quarter-final against Kamilla Rakhimova is scheduled last on Andy Murray Arena, and there's a possibility it may not be completed today.
With the semi-finals taking place tomorrow, it would seem fair to move either the Elena Rybakina/Katie Boulter match or the Emma/Rakhimova match to Court 1 to give the best chance of all quarter-finals being completed today.
We understand the BBC can only broadcast matches from Andy Murray Arena, meaning UK viewers could miss out, but from a sporting perspective this feels like the fairest outcome for all players still in the tournament.
