When you can find them in good condition Batchelder tiles are pricey, but they bring so much more warmth and depth to where ever they're applied. These days usually used as carefully complimenting accent tiles.

Mount Tamalpais during sunset. This was the view on the old road where I used to live. It was an old duck hunting club built in the forties and privately owned. I lived there from seventeen to twentyfive. I still dream about this place. I miss it so much. San Pablo Bay.
It has been a long month and a half. I fell on my birthday and cracked my rib. It took me six weeks to recover and has now taken me an overlapping two weeks to recover from my recovering. I just need a big bowl of this.
I don't even like traditional Panettone. But this is good. I can't even begin to tell you the saga of of getting this. I'll just say I ordered it before Christmas and just got it last week. Light and fluffy, with candied lemon peels, and lemon curd. Tea, chocolate, espresso. Mmm.
The general rule in California is, the longer the votes take is usually because ballot boxes need to be set on fire, illegal ballots need to be brought in and conservative votes need to get deleted and dumped. If I were you I'd just take a long breath and get some good sleep.
