In a Division VI District Semifinal matchup between #9 (D6) @Lancer_BASE (19-8) and @WTHardball (13-11), Wayne Trace pulled off the upset over the top-seeded Lancers, earning a 7-5 extra-inning victory to advance to the District Final against Marion Local (13-13). A clutch two-out, two-run single from 3-hole hitter Jonathan Sterrett proved to be the difference in the 10-inning thriller. Caden Sinn starred both at the plate and on the mound for the Raiders, who outhit Lincolnview 11-6 in the win. The Lancers also committed four errors in the hard-fought contest. Seniors @Chayse_113 and Holden Price closed out outstanding high school careers with multi-hit performances for Lincolnview, while Overholt battled for 8.1 innings and struck out nine.
