Most KYC systems treat every platform as if it is meeting the user for the first time. That made sense when identity was document-based. It does not make sense in a world of digital identity, wallets, verifiable credentials and secure data exchange. The better model: 1. Verify the person once 2. Store proof in a secure Vault 3. Let services request only the attribute they need 4. Keep access auditable 5.
