He took oaths of secrecy as CM. One by one, heads of various agencies are reaching him in wee hours & sharing with him the secret info which only CMs & such levels are supposed to know.
Right now, he is rising above a commoner & picking up levels on intelligence pyramid of this country. He is getting to know what has happened before him & who did it.
He is getting to know how deep the rot is and who caused it. Who is corrupt to what level. All those people sitting with him in state assembly, he is seeing their “files”, the real them. So, he cannot really look at them & pretend to be happy. Even as an actor.
This is not some random fiction writing. This is exactly how system works. Those oaths have only this purpose and they immediately start the process to loop in the new CM/PM as he has to be best informed person in any any crisis.
The information load and realisation you are the final signature on paper raises a lot of expectations & anxieties. US president grows old like bread. New party TVK, no senior leader around, all the more reasons to be serious.
