At some point, it stops being about the squad… and starts being about the people steering the entire operation.

Met John Hollins many years later on the 11 bus. Engaged in conversation and naturally asked him about that goal. In his gentle self-effacing manner he winked at me, said he got lucky and jumped off the bus!
