Sadly @randomdross passed away on 6/4/24 after suffering from debilitating sciatic nerve pain for 1.5 years. DM if you'd like to attend his memorial service. We will love him forever.

I just helped a neighbor move her newly acquired Frogger arcade machine across the road. My life is now complete.
(Sorry for the terrible picture - I was too excited to frame this well - plus you know logs and traffic).
Finally found a medication that has been a lifesaver for my nerve pain. Not fantastic but it will do for the time being. Now I just need to wait a month for a MR neurogram. 😑 (PRP 4 sciatic nerve hydrodissections fixed some things but then nerve pain ramped up.)

Thinking about @rshupak. I never saw someone at work fight harder for what was right / secure, at every opportunity. Totally immune from the type of office politics or whatever that would keep anyone else from being obstinate enough to make the product better.
NEW: Texas surgeon accused of secretly manipulating government database to make patients unable to receive new livers.
Some patients were found to have impossible criteria in their file, requiring donors to be toddlers weighing 300 pounds.
Patients at Memorial Hermann in Houston were unaware, according to the New York Times. Last year alone, 14 patients died or became too sick while waiting for a liver.
It's not yet clear how many patients were affected by the changes or when it began.
