My game One Hour Napoleon is on Kickstarter now. When designing this game I was trying to cram the Napoleonic Wars, 1805 to 1815, into a one hour game. This meant being ruthless with the size of the map. I cut it down to the absolute bare minimum number of spaces to still represent the key decisions of these wars. I eventually settled on 23 spaces, including land and sea. I'm happy with how it turned out. The major campaigns from the time can still be played out at strategic level. To give a further idea of the scale - the entire French army is represented as 10 pieces. 3 to 5 of them in one space would constitute the Grande Armee in something like the Russian campaign. 1 to 3 of them will often be tied up in the Peninsula. Others will be scattered around as garrisons or fighting in secondary theatres like Italy. When cutting game time is a priority you have to be ruthless! Have a look at the game here: kickstarter.com/projects/104…

Puerto Rico Is such a great boardgame. Everyone build something, competition, mistakes, rush to the end. Just finished a 4 player game under in 2 hours! Well played!

Attention board game publishers - I'm looking for a home for one of my latest games. It's called Feud. An asymmetric economic-themed "euro" game set in 11th century feudal England. It's for 1 to 4 players and has 4 unique factions: the Duke, the Order, the Guilds and the Peasantry. Does some very interesting things with worker placement, player interdependence and card management. If you're interested, let me know. And please repost far and wide so I can find a publisher for this!

Intense cuba libre game yesterday! In the end mafia wins. As 3 player game make sense mafia and government were on the same side...

We liked asymmetry and the puzzle nature of the game but some cards were very confusing! Economy undestanding (how do we get resources?) for us was also confusing. Mixed feeling about this game, need to try with 4 players to get the full experience

Yesterday we ended our first run on Arkham horror lcg, dunwitch horror boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/… Now time for some feedback! A solid game with lot of luck involved btw! Skill and resource management matters of course!

The last scenario was brutal and unforgiving even on easy mode. Not sure I want to play it soon, frustration on a cardgame or boardgame Is always a problem!
