ALT Making Iconic Events Safer with AI and Police This #IPL2025, we had the privilege of working with @greaterchennaipolice at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, providing our AI-powered visual surveillance system. Using existing CCTV footage, we supported crowd monitoring for 30 - 38K spectators per match, helped manage large gatherings, and assisted in identifying potential suspects. Thanks to AI, Chennai Police were able to recover lost phones within 48 hours - a true example of effective teamwork! The success of this Chennai model caught the attention of Greater Mumbai Police, who referred to our work when they needed enhanced crowd management during the 10-day #GaneshChaturthi festival, attended by over 40 lakh people. We had the honor of extending our solutions there as well, helping ensure smooth crowd movement, safety, and swift incident responses throughout the celebrations. A heartfelt thank you to both the Greater Chennai Police and Greater Mumbai Police for their trust, guidance.
