After weeks of quiet during the nationwide lockdown, our campus is bustling again on the first day back at school! We were pleased to have 98% attendance today, and students and teachers were delighted to be reunited and resume classroom-based learning.
A friendly reminder that online lessons will resume tomorrow.
Our Student Leaders commemorate Anzac Day at the Browns Bay service each year, together with our Rangitoto College whānau, where we congregate at the Cenotaph. Today, whilst we cannot be together at the parade, we still remember them.

Rangitoto College has made the following changes: - Thursday 26 March: Begin completing homework - Monday 30 March - Tuesday 14 April: Term 1 school holidays - Wednesday 15 April: Online curriculum begins (Day 1) - students to check emails daily for schoolwork and instructions

Today we have moved towards Alert Level 4 in our nationwide response to COVID-19. No students (unless from families of essential workers) are to attend Rangitoto College tomorrow. It is critically important we understand the importance of self-isolation over the next 4 weeks.

Congratulations to these three sailors who placed at the Bay of Islands Inter-School Regatta.
Jaden Movold competed at the NZ Track and Field Champs in Christchurch, he brought home Gold and Bronze. We are excited to have him represent Rangitoto College at the Auckland Championships and then the North Island Secondary School Champs in April.

Students in Year 12 Geography and Geography extension went on a three-day trip to the Tongariro Volcanic Centre this week, in order to collect data for their 2.5 internal assessment. They enjoyed supporting each other as they trekked New Zealand's beautiful landscape.

Congratulations to our Premier Boys Volleyball team who won against Manurewa High School and De La Salle College last Friday. The boys now head to the Auckland Volleyball Championships as number one seed. Good luck!
Our junior school Deans are integral to ensuring our Year 9 and Year 10 students work towards excellence and become the very best they can be. Our Deans also provide pastoral, administrative and academic support to students and their whānau throughout their time at Rangi.
Meet our 2020 Head Students, Mikah Buckley, Centaine Noom-Duckworth, Callum Hockey and Jess Sheldon. Our Student Leaders are integral to our school. They are committed to supporting, encouraging and connecting with our school community, and they uphold our school values.
Athletics Day was a fantastic opportunity for our new Year 9 students to get to know their peers and teachers while playing some of the school’s premier sports.
