This is becoming a serious issue, and the government must pay closer attention to it. Unfortunately, many politicians are contributing to the problem rather than solving it. There are villages that should naturally remain under established kingdoms, with district heads (BaΓ‘lαΊΉΜ€) serving as their local representatives. However, many individuals now use political influence to elevate themselves to the position of Oba simply because they do not want to be subordinate to their traditional authorities. The same pattern is evident in our political system today. We have numerous states and local government councils that are not economically viable and cannot adequately meet the needs of their people through internally generated revenue. Yet, instead of addressing these structural challenges, we continue to create more layers of administration. We need to be honest with ourselves and confront these realities if we truly want sustainable development and effective governance.
β€œThe king sold our land and property . We are here to protest , he sold my own two plot of land” - man lament that a king in Ijebu north sold people’s property and used police to arrest some people when they protested against it .

Business speaking This artist is a 1 Billion dollar potential in 10 years at least if managed well - Community driven approach - Brand positioning - Neo-modern-Yoruba events - TV & shows - Merch - Lifestyle ( Yoruba fashion, etc ) - Jazz infusion ( not minor chord jazz ) - Mythology branding ( people have to worship ) If she is managed along these lines, In ~10 years it will be electric

Started drumming sometimes in Omolewa Nursery & Primary School Ibadan, took it to the church where I had earlier joined the choir even before I started elementary school. Kept drumming all the way till I left Loyola College in 1984. But once in a while I still relish the opportunity to play the drums like recently at JESUS HOUSE -as in the clip below. It's all to the glory of the LORD JESUS who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light! By the way: Do you know that checking out the Jesus story is not a question of religion or belonging to one faith persuasion or the other? If Jesus is the only one that says "I am the way, the truth and life," and also said "no one comes to the father except through me" should not those claims be examined empirically? That was what the former atheist @LeeStrobel did after his wife discovered this truth. I think anyone who encounters the claims of Jesus, owe it to themselves in diligent conduct to properly investigate these things. They have eternal values.
